Secret Sites

Stunning, luxury hand crafted cabins with your own private wood fired hot tub and wood burning oven located in the beautiful North Cotswold Countryside. A haven to escape to for couples looking for a romantic break with a difference.

The houses have a cosy double bedroom with bifold doors opening onto a small wooden floating deck- a great chill out area for those balmy Summer days.The micro kitchen houses a small fridge with ice box, double gas hob and hot and cold water to the sink. On the covered deck you will find your own double wood fired hot tub which is emptied, cleaned and refilled between all guests.  It does not have jets as uses only clean water. There is also a wood burner with oven and grill to cook up a scrumptious supper.A flush toilet is accessed from the deck and a unique, outside, hot water bucket style shower provides washing facilities for the Summer months.The cabins are designed to be off grid with solar powered 12v electric for the fridge, lighting and charging your electric devices. In the Winter the cabins will be sited on our campsite where a double shower block is available together with an electric socket to run a heater. 

To truly relax you do not need to drive anywhere as our locations are carefully chosen to be within walking distance of pubs, shops, butchers and greengrocers in Mickleton, home of the world famous Pudding Club or the beautiful wool market town of Chipping Campden.

Change over days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday with check in from 3pm and check out at 10am.  Our original check in times were between 3 and 5.30 pm however due to the covid situation we are now undertaking a video check-in which means you can arrive later however we will only light the tubs between 3 and 5.30 (depending on their location) so you will need to manage them on arrival.

Dogs – Unfortunately we do not allow dogs in the houses however Longhills Farm Boarding Kennels and Cattery is another element of our business so if you wish to bring dogs with you we are happy for them to board in the kennels and this will need to be booked in advance. 

The cabins are not designed to accommodate any children or babies.

Mirts Mansion and Jeds Shed will be located  on our 5 pitch campsite with our 3 other Little Country Houses - however during the Summer months we take them offsite and offgrid to Secret Site locations in and around Mickleton where they will be running on solar power only so you will have charging points and lights but not facilities for hairdryers etc.

AS AN ENVIRONMENTALLY CONSCIOUS BUSINESS WE HAVE MADE THE DECISION NOT TO SUPPLY TOWELS AS GUESTS GENERALLY ONLY STAY FOR 2 NIGHTS SO TEND TO BRING THEIR OWN WHICH THEY OFTEN RE-USE - WE ALSO DO NOT WISH TO SUPPLY SINGLE USE PLASTICS SO DO NOT LEAVE TEA/COFFEE/SUGAR/MILK SACHETS
